This article describes, “How to turn Num lock on automatically on Logon”
273 kbsts Turn Numlock on Logon
1. Click Start > Run > Type Regedit.
2. Navigate HKEY_USERS > Control Panel > KeyBoard> InitialKeyboardIndicators.
3. Change InitialKeyboardIndicators value from 0 to 2.
4. You are done!
