Mozilla currently recommends 3.5.6 version for day-to-day use, while its been involved in developing the next version of it’s the browser 3.6b5 with advanced Add-ons and will update itself during the beta period and eventually to the final release. The latest version 3.6b5 refers to version 3.6 with revision 5. Firefox 3.6 Beta is built on Mozilla’s Gecko 1.9.2 web rendering platform with code name Namoroka which have focussed on the improvement for the tasks like web developers, Add-ons developers and users, through a CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) specification it allows multiple backgrounds to be overlaid on one another and also supports the Web Open Font Format, a compressed file format for fonts.
This version is also faster and more responsive than previous versions, and has been optimized to run on small device operating systems such as Windows CE and Maemo.
But unfortunately many Add-ons which are previously available were not been tested with this version by the authors as Mozilla is asking its users for helping it to find the bugs. But over 70 percent of the third party Add-ons were been upgraded to the latest release.
