In this post, we are going to check about Apple iPad 3 Release Facts and Fiction. The rumors fly across the web yet again. It’s not a secret that Apple’s name is whispered in the rumors. All year speculation of the iPad 3 release has been the topic of blogs, tweets, and inner office shop talk. The hype is building and the facts are being separated from fiction.
The first rumor was the release date. Most believed the end of 2011 would give iPad lovers a new toy under the Christmas tree. That however, doesn’t appear to be the case. One supplier of parts for the new iPad has reported that Apple has ordered parts to build 1.5 million iPad 3’s in the fourth quarter. Making the release date speculated at early 2012. That will offer enough time for the iPhone 5 to make its mark this holiday season.
A true fact of the new iPad 3 is the display, with the current display of 1024×768 being bumped up to a 2048×1536 9.7”. Another change that is taking place and has been confirmed is the development of the A6 processor that will power the iPad 3. Though Samsung held the contract for the A4 and A5 processor that is the heart of most of Apples i-gadgets, Apple is looking elsewhere for the production of the new chip.
Another rumor flying around is the sale of a cheaper iPad 3. This rumor is based on reports that Verizon and AT&T may be allowed to subsidize the price of the iPad 3 with the signing of a service contract. This was not allowed with the previous releases of the iPad and iPad 2, and still has not been definitively confirmed. The market seems right for a cheaper iPad, which will allow others to enter the tablet market that earlier was not able to afford it. The suspected price would be $199 with a two year contract. This would make it affordable to most and the difference in price would be made back in service charges and data plans.
It was leaked that the iPad 3 would be 4G LTE ready, something everyone hoped for with the iPhone 5. However, reports have stated that the iPhone 5 won’t be ready, but the iPad 3 will. Documents were leaked from AT&T showing they were ramping up to fully support 4G LTE networks in the near future. With the new tablet on its way, and the new patent on the smaller battery, it is fully possible incorporate 4G LTE in the new iPad, not to mention the only logical choice.
All in all we can expect to see a lighter, faster, cheaper and fully displayed iPad coming in the early months of 2012. The release will make a fantastic start to a fantastic year for Apple and Apple enthusiasts.

I personally feel its only a matter of time before we see the iPad 3 being released from Apple. I think everyone in the industry expects it, much like the iPhone has been through the steps and evolutions. I do hope they are able to release it by the time Christmas comes, would be a perfect timing for sure!

Agreed. Sooner or later both iPad 3 and iPhone 5 will be released. But I’m personally excited about the size of the screen. 2048×1536 9.7 will be splendid!
