This article describes how to remove ‘Shortcut to’ prefix on Shortcut files.
How to do this?
1. Open System Registry (Start > Run > Type regedit)
2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorer
3. Create a new BINARY value name ‘link’ and modify the existing value to ‘00 00 00 00‘ to have the Shortcut text disabled.
4. Restart your PC and Create a shortcut.
5. You are done!
