If you want to modify the Welcome Page of New Tab, then follow the below guide:
- Run Regedit from Start Menu
- Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Microsoft -> Internet Explorer -> AboutURLs
- On the right-hand side you’ll find the “Tabs” parameter, right-click and select “Modify”
- if you have this problem, the value of this paramater probably is “http://search.speedbit.com/tab/” this needs to be changed to the Internet explorer default of “res://ieframe.dll/tabswelcome.htm“
- Close and open IE again.
- You are done!!
