Dell Studio One 19 one of the dream PC that every one would like to have on their desks. Having a slim-profile all-in-one PC usually cuts down on most necessary ports, but this is obviously not the case with the iMac-looking Dell Studio One 19.
Dell has launched its new multi-touch all-in-one desktop PC, the stunning Dell Studio One 19, in India.
The Dell Studio One 19 PC that will be available from mid-June 2009, will be priced at Rs. 49,900. $799 USD ( For multi Touch Screen)
The Dell Studio One 19 PC has a multi-touch 18.5-inch LCD screen display, that offers 16:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
On the right side, it has a slot-loading optical disc drive (with a Blu-ray upgrade option). On the back, it has four USB ports, an audio out port and an ethernet port. On the left side, it has two additional USB ports, a microphone in, another audio out plus a memory card reader.

The product looks pretty much like Apple’s iMac, or an insanely huge iPhone. The bad things with these all-in-one PC’s is that you need to go directly to Dell if something breaks down. You obviously can’t upgrade components if you feel they’re outdated after a year or so, because everything is integrated into the back part of the display.
You can’t upgrade a single piece of the Studio One, which is a shame given the skimpy storage. Feel free to take out your upgrading aggressions by uninstalling the system’s silly included software–unless you really enjoy adding “bang!” and “zoom!” overlays to the images the Studio One’s 1.3-megapixel Webcam shoots. The Studio One’s integrated DVD read/write drive is fine, but systems that cost just a bit more offer Blu-ray. It’s time to take the plunge, Dell.
Similar to other all-in-ones, the Studio One 19 lets you adjust only the tilt of the screen. According to Dell, it designed the stand so you can adjust the screen to a touch-friendly angle when you’re standing in front of it, and we were happy with the screen’s range of motion. We hope someday for an all-in-one that can swivel
Overall, the Studio One, even on the low end, is a capable and stylish all-in-one PC with excellent sound.
There’s a Dell-developed software called YouPaint which is targeted for a young audience, it’s basically like an advanced virtual drawing/coloring board.
Relatively low-resolution screen (not true 1080p HD). Screen is small. Wouldn’t run our 3D tests. Touch accuracy needs a little work. Webcam on all the time if face recognition enabled. Web video playback a little jerky due to entry-level processor.
dvd burners these days are very cheap, i hope that blue ray burners will become cheaper too .
Very good DVD/CD writer bundled with good software
Installation was very easy, took less than 5 minutes to install in the computer. The software, Nero8, also installed quickly. I have not had a single failed DVD or CD burn yet with this drive; this is very impressive to me (I am using Verbatim media). The drive is quieter than most I have used
