8 Ways To Implement Perfect Image SEO

I am sure that all the webmasters would be serious to make their pages and content Search Engine friendly to get Organic Traffic. I am also sure that there are still a good percent of webmasters who never care about the Optimization of Images for the spiders.

#1. ALT Tag

• This is the main thing that you must consider while doing the image optimization.
• Have a habit to add the ALT tag for all the images you upload in your Blog/site because the spider recognizes this ALT Tag as the name.
• This ALT tag is displayed as the name of the image in the search results. You must always give the Keyword as your ALT tag i.e. the keyword for which you want the images to get ranked.

• I would say this will help but not to the core. This will be displayed as a descriptive text below your images so again use your keyword.

#4. Title of the Image

• This is shown as a help text when the users hovers the text over the image i.e. like a simple description. This has nothing to do with the SEO so you can name it as you want.

• I have seen in many places where I can click the images to maximize it. This is a good thing in terms of reader perspective but spiders hate this. So please avoid doing it.
