  1. You need not submit you site to search engines because they will eventually find you. They crawl the web for latest sites and even SEO experts believe by submitting you’ll only end up wasting your time.

@shashank you are right, this works for new blogs. Unless we install Google Sitemaps nd webmaster tools, we can’t predict our future. SO, its not about wasting time, but its having its own benifits, which im going to reveal in my future articles 🙂

  2. Submitting your site is good but as the commenter shashank mention the crawlers or spiders will always index your website however using those tools mentioned like google webmaster tool to get verified is something i strongly recommend Thanks for the share.

    • @Rakesh Nope dude, you wont loose any of your links if your migrate your blog from Blogger to WP(if u consult ny experts). We are offering the flat 50% off for migration. SO hurry upp 🙂

  3. People only give Importance to Google, but I think the other search engines like Yahoo and Bing, not much but can bring some traffic to your website. So these should be give some consideration. Nice Post. Tweeted.

  4. Hi Siddartha, submitting an XML Sitemap through Google Webmaster Tools will definitely put your website on Googlebot’s radar. Another way to facilitate crawl and indexation is to build links from other websites to yours.

    • @Karan Thnx a lot for your Comment and Glad you liked it. Welcome To GadgetCage and Thnx a lot for sharing your TIps too 😀

  5. As far as auto crawling of the websites by search engines crawling, it does work and submission the sites seem a bit wasting time but how about webmaster tools by all search engines providing useful information for the site owners or developers. They can easily get summarized analysis and search queries for their seo or developing purposes.
So I would always recommend to submit your urls into search engines to get indexed.
